A leading global software house are seeking a experienced Business Analysts with experience within Financial Services to join the project team in the Edinburgh offices.
In relation to this role, you shall be a specialist within risk and focused on business analyst / project management responsibilities and disciplines but within a risk environment.
Extensive experience of two of the following areas of Risk will be highly desirable:
- Basel II
- Solvency II
You shall have an awareness of financial products and modelling knowledge, and an awareness of the risks inherent in a range of such financial products including a breadth of experience in processes supporting risk assessment, and a deep understanding of the principal drivers of risk.
Role and Responsibilities:
o Defining a business analysis process within an agile development process
o Requirements analysis
o Capturing requirements in an appropriate form
o Work with all key stakeholders to deliver accurate, clear and prioritised requirements to allow implementation and testing of new product developments
o Working to the discipline of an agile software development lifecycle
o Facilitating, and/or leading workshops and engage with the business, IT and 3rd parties
o Managing stakeholders at all levels
o Work effectively in small development teams
o Work well independently
o Work as part of an Agile development team and describe how this would work
