A leading provider of commodities and ETRM systems are recruiting for a Senior Consultant to work closely with project managers on multiple projects. You will be contributing technically and intuitively to the project plans and being involved with the projects full lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead efforts to provide on & off-site Commodity Management Software Modelling, Configuration, Data Entry, Training, Testing & Support;
* Work directly with the Project Manager to derive key portions of the Project Plan;
* Lead efforts to provide Business Analysis Services including: Requirements Gathering, Gap Analysis & Functional Design Specification;
* Lead efforts to Create/Compile software, client and/or industry specific documentation;
* Lead efforts to provide Issue/Resolution Tracking, and liaise between client and strategic departments including: Engineering, Quality Assurance, Delivery Services, Technical Support, Account Management;
* Provide junior Delivery Services Consultants with mentoring and direction when working together on client and internal projects;
* Provide training to internal on software, client and/or industry specific concepts;
* Contribute to on-going process improvements within the Delivery Services - EMEA organisation;
* Duties may include travel 80+%.
The ideal candidate will have an excellent working knowledge of physical commodity trading and ETRM systems along with consulting project experience.
Evidence of professional business acumen in roles that demonstrate the ability to deliver solutions in challenging, client-facing environments
Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and oral)
Sound working knowledge of the C/ETRM business model
Process and controls improvement projects bringing insight and understanding across front, middle and back office activities and processes
Project and programme management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong academic performance in a degree at graduate or postgraduate level
Primary technologies include: Allegro, Amphora, Openlink, SolArc, SunGard and Triplepoint.
Candidates desirably, will have a high degree of competency within a consulting environment (and, thus, are well versed on project delivery, management techniques, tool and methods) combined with
