Software / Commissioning Engineers

On behalf of our Clients we are looking for Control Systems Software / Commissioning Engineers. This is a multi-skilled role that requires knowledge of Siemens S7, Allen Bradley or GE Fanuc PLC's ideally within Food, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Water and Pharmaceutical industry. Knowledge of other PLC's like Mitsubishi, Modicon or Omron would be an advantage. Some of the responsibilities will include: integrating and configuring control system components into complete controls packages, testing configuration and integration thoroughly throughout all project stages, providing assistance for sales / project engineering / development / testing / FAT / commissioning / service activities, following design / implementation procedures; reporting all non-conformances to line manager, maintaining accurate documentation relating to projects in accordance with company procedures.
Candidates must be prepared to travel to client sites (both in the UK and abroad) as required.
