(“Company”) (Nasdaq: STAF), a public company executing a global buy-and-build strategy through the acquisition of staffing organizations in the US and the UK, today announced that seasoned recruitment industry veteran, Richard Pickard, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Company’s Longbridge Recruitment 360 division.

Comprising over 25 years of experience at both private and public companies, Mr. Pickard brings a high degree of knowledge, team building skills and sales expertise in the staffing industry. Prior to joining Longbridge, Mr. Pickard was Director of Financial Services at Oliver James Associates, a global specialist recruitment company, where he launched the company’s start-up Financial Services division and helped the firm win the “Best Banking and Financial Recruitment Agency” award by Recruiter magazine in 2012 and 2014. Over his career path in the staffing industry, Mr. Pickard has specialized in numerous market verticals and has been responsible for major accounts at global top tier investment banks and FTSE 100 financial services institutions.

Prior to Oliver James, Mr. Pickard was an Associate Director at Robert Walters PLC, a specialist professional recruitment consultancy that is publicly listed on the London Stock Exchange, where he was managing and developing teams of 20 staff members to deliver contract qualified accountancy and senior level finance solutions. Mr. Pickard also worked at Witan Jardine (acquired by Australian-based Ambition Group) from 2002 to 2010, where he served as Associate Director of Financial Services. During this time, he designed and implemented various client retention and cross-selling initiatives, helping fuel the growth of the organization in the United Kingdom.
