Responsibilities:
*Responsible for the royalty accounts payable function for one of the business units.
This includes timely payment of royalty statements in line with contract and recording of costs within the finance system.
Reconciliation of royalty statements to balances in the finance system and royalty processing system, knowledge of Netsuite would be good to have
*Calculation and recording of royalty client VAT and WHT amounts where applicable.
*Preparation of payment runs in line with contractual terms
*Reconciliation of royalty client advance balances.
*Review and maintain standing client data.
*Management of royalty statements visible in the online statement portal.
*Dealing with royalty client enquiries.
Outline of Specific Functions:
*Reconciliation of client statement to finance system and royalty processing system.
*Reconciliation and recording of royalty client advances.
*Preparation of payment run reports for approval and paying approved payment runs through the bank (creation of BACS/wire transfers)
*Ensure all payments are correctly reflected within the finance system.
*Record keeping of all transactions.
*Preparation of VAT and tax withheld calculations and posting of relevant journals to AP ledger.
*Create and maintain client standing in the iMaestro royalty system
*Dealing with any client queries
Requirements:
*Minimum 3 years accounts payable experience
*Ability to reconcile between finance systems and sub-systems
*Experience of working with multi-currency payments and bank accounts
