A Global Creative Sales and Promotions Consultancy are now looking for a Financial Controller to join their Finance Department.
The successful Financial Controller will be responsible for managing the finance team and ensuring the integrity of financial accounting processes, reporting and controls. This role will be essential in advising and supporting the business in achieving its strategic goals.
Duties and responsibilities will include;
*Monthly reporting including accounts consolidations and submission to head office.
*Financial control and cashflow management including balance sheet reconciliations, monitoring of cashflow balances and forecasts etc.
*Business partnering including supporting the CEO, Senior Leadership and the wider business departments.
*People management including the mentorship and development of a finance team of seven.
*Half year and full auditing
*Annual budgeting and forecasting
*Continuous process improvement
*Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities
*Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts
On a day to day basis, this Financial Controller position will require you to work with the following software;
*Microsoft Office - primarily Excel
*SAP Business Intelligence (BI) and Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC)
*Internal claim management systems ("Hub" & "Hera")
*Other business systems
*ACCA or CIMA qualified
*Minimum 3 years' experience in a Finance Manager / Financial Controller role
*Relevant commercial experience
*Experience of process improvement
*Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (previous exposure to any of the above outlined systems is desirable)
*Experience of mentoring and developing team members
*Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on quality outcomes
*High level of self-motivation, initiative and flexibility
*Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
*Effective planning, time management and a focus on meeting deadlines
